Origami Experience: The Art of Paper Folding
What Your Child Will Do (Step-by-Step)
1. Welcome & Introduction (10 min)
Your child will meet the instructor and be introduced to origami—the traditional Japanese art of transforming a single sheet of paper into intricate shapes.
2. Understanding the Basics (10 min)
They’ll learn simple foundational folds and techniques, building confidence with easy, guided steps.
3. First Creation (15 min)
Children will start with a beginner-friendly piece (such as a crane or animal), following the instructor step by step.
4. Skill Building (20 min)
As they gain confidence, they’ll move on to slightly more detailed designs, learning how precision and patience improve the result.
5. Creative Folding Time (20 min)
Your child will choose from a few designs and create their own pieces, with the instructor offering individual guidance.
6. Sharing & Closing (10 min)
The session ends with a chance to share their creations and a short reflection on the meaning and beauty behind origami.

Group Size
Maximum 4 children per session
A small group ensures each child receives personal guidance and can learn at their own pace.
Age Range
Ages 6–14
No prior experience is needed. The session is adapted for beginners and adjusted to each child’s level.

Duration: ~1 hour 15 minutes
Difficulty: Beginner-friendly to light intermediate
Children progress step by step, with optional challenges for those who want to try more detailed designs.
