What Your Child Will Do (Step-by-Step)

1. Welcome & Setting the Scene (10 min)
Your child will be welcomed into a traditional tea space and gently introduced to the atmosphere of the tea ceremony—quiet, respectful, and focused.

2. Understanding the Space & Etiquette (10 min)
They will learn simple, age-appropriate etiquette: how to sit, how to bow, and how to appreciate the tea room and its seasonal elements.

3. Demonstration by the Teacher (15 min)
The instructor will perform a short tea ceremony, showing each movement slowly and explaining its meaning—how every gesture has purpose.

4. Hands-On Tea Making (25 min)
With guidance, your child will prepare their own bowl of matcha using traditional tools. They will learn how to whisk the tea and handle each step with care.

5. Enjoying Tea & Traditional Sweets (15 min)
Children will enjoy the tea they made along with Japanese sweets, learning how flavors are balanced and how tea is properly received.

6. Reflection & Closing (10 min)
